with ONLINE BIDDING will be available! Please scroll all the
way through for important information about going live on s
ale day and this particular location! To register for/partic
ipate in online bidding\, download the Horse Auctions USA app
available for iPhone & Android. We do recommend the app if
using your phone/tablet/mobile device! Most of our users who
have the app find it extremely easy to use and it is format
ted perfectly for mobile devices.  Alternatively\, you can u
se your computer browser (we recommend Google Chrome) at bid
.horseauctionsusa.com   All internet bidding related quest
ions should be directed to Amber Lee Schwartz (336) 564-7650
or to Bridget Lavigne at (336) 904-8903 TWO WAYS TO BID Ear
ly Absentee Bidding: This works much like ebay for those of
you familiar with that platform. It is available to you as
soon as a horse is listed here on the site! With this method
\, you can place your maximum bid. The computer will then sta
rt you at the lowest possible amount ($1000 is the default s
tarting bid) and will act as your agent when others absentee
bid and when the sale goes live on sale day. The computer w
ill raise your bid by the minimum increment available as nee
ded to keep you winning.  This method works well for people
with poor internet connectivity\, for those who have to work
or otherwise can't watch live on sale day\, and for folks wh
o find the fast pace of a live auction to be intimidating.
Please note that if you place an absentee bid and that hors
e has an announcement made during the sale that changes the
information that was originally posted (i.e. - a horse is ca
lled to be a cribber and that wasn't in the original listing
) we will NOT honor your absentee bid. This is for your prot
ection as a buyer. We want you to bid with the most accurate
information possible.  Live Bidding on Sale Day: For thos
e who prefer to participate in real time\, we will have a liv
e webcast..... Make sure you have registered to bid and that
you are logged in. On sale day\, there will be a "View Live"
button available - push that and join us live! You will hav
e real time feed with bid buttons available so you can parti
cipate as if you were with us in person.  PLEASE NOTE! We d
o this sale at the campground. It is a BEAUTIFUL setting for
our event but we do struggle with internet connectivity. We
do our best to bring you the clearest video feed possible b
ut please understand that we are limited by location. This
is something we have tried to address several ways and conti
nue to work on! We have to make do the best we can with this
beautiful setting and all the signal blocking trees that co
me with it!  :)      We've got BRAND SPANKING NEW SATELL
ITE INTERNET for the September Sale! We've tested things out
and it looks like we may just FINALLY have truly reliable s
ervice. We'll leave all of the "just in case" information up
on here but it looks like we'll be more than good to go to
be live! There is still the very real possibility that no m
atter what solutions we put in place\, we just may not have e
nough bandwidth to push live video feed (although with the n
ew service\, that possibility is much smaller than in years p
ast)! While we certainly hope that isn't the case\, we do wa
nt to prepare for that possibility. IF that happens\, we will
be able to run the live bidding itself so you can still bid
in real time - you just won't have the live video feed.  N
ot ideal but most of the horses have enough photo/video mate
rial posted ahead to give folks a good look ahead of time. H
opefully\, it doesn't come to that but we would rather prepar
e everyone for the possibility "just in case"   I won\, now
what?!?! A member of the KS Select Office team will be in t
ouch with winning bidders as soon as possible. It may be onc
e the sale is over (this depends entirely on just how busy t
hat sale office gets). But someone will be reaching out! You
'll make payment for your winning bids directly to the KS Se
lect office. If you need to reach someone before this you ca
n try the following but PLEASE remember that just because yo
u are done bidding doesn't mean the auction is over. Everyon
e on site has their hands full until the last horse sells so
thank you in advance for your patience!  You can TEXT Ambe
r Lee at (336) 564-7650 (she's on the auction block reading
pedigrees and running the computer so she absolutely cannot
answer a call while the sale is ongoing).  You can call/tex
 t Kris Smith at (814) 229-3290 - he's managing the sale so
he'll be bustling around but you can certainly reach out. Ry
an Kain serves a very needed role in "handling whatever is n
eeded at any point in time" and is a good sport about relayi
ng messages\, getting our internet bidders settled up\, and as
sisting with locating transport.  Please feel free to call/
text Ryan if you need assistance before the end of the aucti
on at (336) 904-8903 Ideally all horses should be picked up
by NOON on SUNDAY. We realize that arranging transport doesn
't always make that possible so if you need to arrange layov
er board until transport can pick up\, please reach out to Kr
is (814) 229-3290 and he'll get you all situated.
