The catalog will become available AFTER September 12th. Once the catalog is finalized, well make a downloadable/printable version available here for those who want one. In the meantime, we will post horses that are consigned here for you to enjoy and so you can start picking out your favorites!

Until the catalog is finalized, horses will be posted here on the bidding site in RANDOM ORDER with "placeholder" lot numbers. Rather than wait until the catalog is complete, we'll go ahead and start putting horses online so you don't have to wait! You can absolutely add horses to your favorites list and even place early absentee bids just as soon as a horse is listed. (You don't have to wait until they have their final lot number) Once the catalog is finalized, we'll update all of the horses with their proper lot/hip number and they will be rearranged in selling order.

Check back often!

As additional photos and videos become available, we will add them to the horses' listings so make sure you pop in and check things out regularly! You'll find live videos and other great resources about the sale in the DIAMOND E HORSE COMPANY FACEBOOK PAGE so be sure to Like/Follow on there if you haven't already!!!

About The Area/Venue and Some Common Questions!

Jackpot/Ranch Sorting is held the night before at 6pm - come enjoy the fun!

YES, there are overnight camping hookups!

YES, many hotels just 1/2 mile from the fairgrounds! Quality Inn is our host hotel but you'll find Holiday Inn Express, Super 8, and others right there as well!

PAYMENT METHODS: Cash (always preferred!), good check (that means make sure you have the funds before you write it!), and credit cards with a 4% service charge. Internet bidders, while you will have to register for online bidding with a card, you can absolutely make payment for your winning bids with cash or good check at pick up AS LONG AS that happens by Noon on Sunday.

NO, there will not be a "tack sale" but we absolutely will have vendors set up for your shopping enjoyment!  Auction items limited to saddles & trailers before the horses sell.

PLENTY of food available and yes, there's a beer tent (if you're bringing your non-horsey significant other, just park them right there - they'll be fine!)

VENDORS! There will be a barn designated just for you! Bring your own tables and we THANK YOU for coming to create a more social experience! Sell as much as you can and just remember us the next time a charity asks you for a donation!

Personal note from Skeeter Ehrman, Owner of Diamond E & Sale Manager:

"I have been in and around the horse business my whole life. I absolutely love a good horse, but I have come to realize you don't have good horses without good people. I am proud to have each and every one of you be a part of our lives here. Know that myself and everyone at the Diamond E Horse Company appreciate you for just being you. Looking forward to shaking hands and hearing the screams of joy when the bidding is over!"

ONLINE BIDDING - LET'S GET TO IT!

If you're new to bidding online with Horse Auctions USA, the following information should prove useful! As we get closer to sale day, we'll get a video bidding tutorial posted right here to help you out too! Any online bidding questions should be directed to Bridget Lavigne at (336) 904-8903 - calls and texts are welcome.

You can watch & bid live in real time OR you can place absentee bids ebay style!

At sale time, you'll have REAL TIME video & audio and bid buttons available to you and you can join us from anywhere in the world with a reliable internet or cellular connection!

As soon as a horse is posted, early absentee bidding becomes available to you! This works much like ebay for those of you familiar with that. You can place your maximum bid ahead of time and the computer will then act as your agent at sale time, bidding on your behalf by minimum increments to keep you in the lead. This option is useful for those of you with poor internet/cell service at home, those who are unable to watch live for any reason, and also for you folks who find the fast pace of a live auction to be intimidating. PLEASE NOTE that if you place an early absentee bid and that animal comes into the ring with an announcement that changes the information that was available to you when you placed your bid (i.e. the horse cribs but that was not disclosed in the listing) we will NOT honor your pre-bid for your protection. We want you to bid with the most accurate information available!

For those of you who prefer to watch and bid live, you’ll have real time audio/video available to you at sale time! Make sure you have registered to bid, are logged in, and then hit the “View Live” button on the live feed (that "play" button will appear on sale day)!  You’ll be good to go and can participate just as if you were here in person!

For those of you using a mobile device, we do recommend downloading the Horse Auctions USA app for the best bidding experience! It is available FREE to download from the Google Play and App Stores!  If you prefer to use your browser, we do recommend using Google Chrome

You will need to register with a credit/debit card in order to bid online. Click "Register to Bid" under any horse listed in the auction or on the auction's practice lot. This will populate a pop up window. If you've never had an account with Horse Auctions USA, at the bottom of that window click on "No Account? Sign up here" then follow the prompts.  Please note that a pre-authorization for $500 will be placed on your registered card. This is NOT a charge, just an authorization to verify you are indeed a real person with a real card and is a good faith hold to allow you to bid. Your mobile banking app may send a notification that looks like a charge - AGAIN, this is not a charge. It will show as pending and then fall off like it was never there once the sale is complete and any purchases you have made are paid for. You DO NOT have to pay for your purchases with this card – cash or check at pick up is perfectly acceptable!  Please be advised that there is a 4% processing fee on all card payments.

Winning bidders will be contacted by a member of the sales office team. PLEASE NOTE that it gets very hectic in the office and just because you are done bidding for the day doesn't mean the sale is done. A member of our staff will call you but it is possible it will be AFTER the sale has ended. If you need assistance before that, you can TEXT Bridget at 336-904-8903 or call/text Skeeter at (815) 405-6349.

Horses need to be picked up by NOON on MONDAY!  If that timeframe won't work (and we know it won't for some of our out of area bidders) local layover board is available. You will need to contact Skeeter at (815) 405-6349 to arrange this.

Good luck and happy bidding!

1. All purchases are to be paid in full on day of sale & prior to removal from premises.

3. All items are sold "as is where is" The auctioneer assumes no liability for any guarantee made by the seller.
4. The auctioneer is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss incurred in connection with the sale.

INTERNET BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE! When you register to bid, Horse Auctions USA will place a $500 preauthorization on the credit or debit card that you register with. This is NOT a charge, just a preauthorization. Your mobile banking may send a notification that appears as a charge - AGAIN, it is just a preauthorization. The $500 will show as "pending" and then never complete but rather, will just vanish as if it was never there.  Once the sale is complete, this preauthorization is released for all non-winning bidders. Winning bidders will have the preauthorization lifted once final settlement is made with the auction company. If for any reason you as a winning bidder fail to make final payment to the auction company before the open of business on Monday, you understand that Horse Auctions USA will finalize the $500 preauthorization and remit it to the auction company to be applied to your bill. Further, you understand that Horse Auctions USA will charge your registered card for the full amount due to the auction company for your winning bids. BID RESPONSIBLY and remember, your bid is a legally binding contract! You are responsible for your winning bids.
