Horses that are consigned ahead will be posted here prior to the sale. Consignments will show in numerical order and  are open for pre-bidding/absentee bidding as soon as they are posted! Go ahead and get yourself registered to bid online if you can't attend in person! Pre-Bidding/Absentee Bidding is open to you as soon as a horse is posted. This works much like ebay - you can place your maximum bid and then let the computer do all the work for you! The computer will set you in at the lowest bid amount allowed and then bid on your behalf by increments as needed when other bids are placed. This is a useful option if you will be in an area with poor internet/cell service on sale day, if you will be unable to watch live on sale day for any reason, or if you just find the pressure of a real time auction to be overwhelming.  ALTERNATIVELY..... Watch & Bid LIVE on Sale Day! Once we start the horses on sale day, our webcast will go live. You'll have real time video/audio available and bid buttons. Make sure you are registered to bid AND logged in so you will be able to bid when your favorite horse comes in!  I WON!  Now what?  If you are a winning bidder, a member of our office team will contact you shortly to confirm your preferred payment method and pick up arrangements. If you need to reach us immediately, please call Victoria Shuffler at (828) 368-1263. While you do have to register to bid with a debit or credit card, you WILL NOT PAY WITH THAT CARD! You will be contacted by an office staff member to give you the wire transfer information! All wire transfers must be paid by Monday, October 23rd at 12pm! You are welcome to pay cash or check (ONLY IF YOU HAVE A BANK LETTER OF CREDIT) at pick up as long as you are picking up no later than NOON on SUNDAY. All purchases must be paid for in full by Noon on Sunday if you are not doing a wire transfer if you are doing a wire transfer you have until Monday October 23rd at 12pm!. If you need to layover board your horse while arranging transport, this can be arranged with the sale office. Board fees per day do apply after Sunday. ***Please Note when you register to bid, you will need to enter a credit or debit card and Horse Auctions USA will run an authorization to validate that card. This authorization WILL FALL OFF, much like when you reserve a car or hotel room. We DO NOT charge your card but it is likely that your bank will send you a notification of the authorization. SALE ORDER: Horses will sell in consecutive catalog order

Bidding: Bidders have the following options to bid, on-site, online or by phone. Bidders MUST be registered before bidding. All phone bidders must be registered by noon Friday October 20th. To register onsite please have a photo ID. To register for phone bid contact Victoria Shuffler at 828-368-1263. 

Each horse will be sold to the highest bidder, with the exception of reserved prices. The decision of the auctioneer will be final if any questions arise during the sale. The auctioneer also reserves the right to reject any bids. 

Horseman's Mission Select Sale & its associates act as agents only and are not responsible for buyer/seller or misunderstanding. All Horses are sold "as is" without any express or implied warranties. (Consignor has the privilege to no sale or pass out the horse.)

BUYERS PAYMENT: Buyers shall pay for all horses at the conclusion of the sale and shall pay the full price by one of the following: Cash, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Personal Check. ALL ONLINE AND PHONE BUYERS: PAYMENT IS WIRE TRANSFER ONLY! You will be contacted by end of sale by the Horseman's Mission office staff to inform you of wire transfer instruction! All online bidders MUST put a credit card on file!! That is a safety net for the buyer, seller and auction company. All purchases made using a wire transfer shall be paid by Monday October 23rd at 12pm. A 4% buyers premium will be charged for all online and phone purchases.

CATALOG: Every effort has been made to assure correctness of the catalog, however the seller, sale management and the auctioneer are not responsible for errors or omissions. All statements and corrections announced at the time of the sale shall supersede the catalog. All comments stated in the catalog are as stated form the consignors and not the sale management. Again we have made every effort to assure the catalo is correct. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements from the auction block that precedence over any printed material. 

HEALTH: All horses have a current negative Coggins test and vet available for Health Certificates.

RIDEABILITY: It is the buyers responsibility  to make sure the horse is a good fit. We are not responsible for your inability to ride the horse. 

SOUNDNESS GUARENTEE: All horses have a current PPE and X-Rays available upon request, (either from the consignor or sale management). All horses are sold as sound unless stated otherwise from the auction block. We represent and warrant to the buyer the following 48 hours after being sold: the horse is sound of eyes and wind. The horse will hit the ground sound on all 4 feet. The horse is not a cribber and has not been nerved. This soundness guarantee will apply to only horses with problems existing prior to the sale time and not to problems caused after the sale by the buyers hauling or use of the horse. Soundness does not guarantee pass of a check by your vet following the sale. All vet exams shall be done PRIOR to buying the horse, NOT after. Please examine horses prior to entering the sale ring. The sale staff is not responsible for announcing scars or blemishes, heights are approximant. Ray Raber or any sale management have the say over any controversy. If a situation occurs that a buyer is not satisfied with his or her purchase, and the consignor agrees to take the horse back, the buyer will be required to pay for the commission and consignment fees. Neither the auctioneer , HMSS, any representative thereof, nor their consultants shall be responsible of any liability whatsoever, including, but not limited to, the loss, damage, injury, death, or illness of any horse, person or property before, during or after the sale. All horses must go through the sale ring, and all transactions through the sale office. NO PRIVATE SALES!

EQUINE INSURANCE: ERIC TAPP & Associates is providing a 24hr drop of the hammer mortality coverage for all horses purchased at The Horseman's Mission Select Sale, October 21st. We highly recommend that buyers protect their investments  and purchase equine insurance right after the sale. ERIC TAPP & Associates will be onsite to assist with insurance needs. 

HARVEST RIDGE: Ia a no smoking facility as well as no alcohol on the grounds.
